Supporting DMARC - Many Ways to Give
For nearly six decades, DMARC has leveraged in-kind food donations and volunteer hours to ensure that all possible resources are made available to help families in need. Of every $10.00 contributed to DMARC, nearly $9.00 goes toward food and direct assistance to help Des Moines area families. As DMARC continues to carefully steward the generous gifts of loyal and new donors and volunteers, we recognize there are many worthy charitable causes deserving of your support. On behalf of the nearly 3,000 families served each month by DMARC’s Emergency Food Pantries, we thank you for your continued commitment and service.
Greater Des Moines Community Foundation
You can now give to the DMARC Foundation through the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation's website. All you have to do is follow
this link and be sure to select the Des Moines Area Religious Council Foundation Fund from the dropdown menu.
Employer Matching Gifts
DMARC donors can double or triple the impact of financial gifts and/or volunteer service to DMARC. In most cases, if your employer offers a matching gift program, all you need to do is complete and submit a form that is available through your personnel or human resources office. A list of companies with matching gift programs is available
here. Some companies also match gifts for board members, retirees or employee spouses.
